Why learn ukulele?

While the ukelele is widely recognised as a Hawaiian instrument, its origins come from Portugal. The ukulele is a fun instrument and there are plenty of ensembles around so you can enjoy playing with other people. In your ukulele lesson you will learn instrument anatomy, how single notes combine into chords, sight reading, rhythm, improvisation theory and how to play your favourite songs. There is no set curriculum We are free to teach you in the way that best suits you! You can even learn singing in the same lesson.
