Why learn violin?

The violin is a beautiful instrument and learning this instrument will set you up for a lifetime of enjoying making music with others. There are plenty of opportunities for violinists to enjoy playing in groups, ensembles and orchestras even at student levels.

In violin lessons we focus on developing a good technique so you can make a beautiful sound with your instrument. Developing a good ear and learning to read are important too. We tutor students for AMEB exams, HSC music or just for fun. We teach from beginner level through to diploma and students at university level. Pre-schoolers and adults beginners are welcome. In addition to Violin we also offer other string lessons on a limited basis including Cello and Viola.
